Role and Responsibilities

You will provide day-to-day support to institutions operations. Also, to maintain the data quality in their systems. Working closely with institution users through effective communication to delight and build rapport for successful service delivery. You will help to innovate and improve operational processes, and facilitate regular meetings and reporting. Handle the operational requests (merging patient records, cross-system verification) from various institutions.

  • Perform patient merge activities as per DMO merging process, within the stipulated SLA (including making calls to users, various checking in patient registration systems)
  • Perform checks/cross-system verification on patient demographic updates done by institution users in patient registration systems'
  • Responsible for acting as the link, for the resolution of wrong ID issues created by institutions, between NHG/NUP cluster/Polyclinics' Medical Records Offices, Business Offices, Operations Departments, institutions users and Ancillary/Clinical system FAs.

Responsible for the following:

  • Proper rectification of wrong patient merge, wrong registration in patient registration systems
  • Review of issues raised by the system FAs of the back-end systems to sync with patient registration systems
  • Preparation of the relevant reports on wrong ID-related information/statistics to users and management
  • Handle all other pertinent patient ID issues (including those relating to patient registration processes)
  • Act as the liaison representative for IHiS's Data Management Unit with respect to data

Requirements / Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of working experience in relevant industry with proven track record
  • Have pleasant/positive attitude in learning as well as adapting to the institutions operational environment/situations, and is able to handle pressure
  • Good knowledge of Database/SQL, MS Excel(macro/vba) and MS Access
  • Good knowledge and/or prior experience in system / desktop troubleshooting, and hospital operational support (patient registration) is highly advantageous
  • Familiar with the use of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Meticulous and attentive to details (as job is ‘investigative and data analysis’ in nature), and organised
  • Understand/involved in project management and support work.
  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Computer Science or equivalent
