Responsibilities:

Presales
• Manage full sales cycle from lead to close for owned opportunities
• Manage the quality of overall deliverables throughout end-to-end sales process
• Work closely with Architects in order to design solutions to customer needs - identifying any requirements for adaptations
• Facilitate workshops that assist in shaping solutions during the sales cycle
• Delivery with the delivery organisation to deliver commercial models for proposals Architecture
• Work with the Business Analysts, Developers and Stakeholders and act as a conduit to identifying the best-in-class solutions and ensure the successful delivery of those solutions
• Lead requirements capture & solution shaping, including prototyping and proof of concept development as required
• Define & deliver new solutions that enhance the company's Solutions portfolios
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies
• Strong experience in designing modern cloud-based applications

Project Delivery
• Act as the lead for assigned presales projects
• Provide post-sales support to project managers in order to reduce costs and optimise profitability
• Take ownership and responsibility for customers’ risks and issues, when required

Requirements
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role
• A degree level qualification in Computer Science or similar discipline, or equivalent business experience.
• Excellent skills in writing proposals spanning business and technology domains
• Must have a hands-on Applications development background including a good understanding of Enterprise systems, Digital Technology including Cloud, Mobility, Big Data Analytics, Blockchain and IoT
• Keen learner with the ability to quickly understand the architecture of new and emerging technologies
• Strong experience of systems integration including integration using modern middleware
• Understanding of Data Modelling and Data Management
• Thorough understanding of HTML5 and evolving JavaScript based UI technologies
• Strong understanding of Cloud eco system, knowledge of Azure or AWS an advantage
• Extensive software architecture and design experience
• Substantial experience in a commercial operational environment dealing with business critical systems
• Full life cycle experience is application developments, with good experience and understanding of the application development processes
• Experience in communicating complex technical information to a variety of audiences
• High level of understanding of multi-tier, distributed architectures
• High level of understanding of search, recommendation and analytics systems.
