Job Responsibilities :

• Working with industry, to perform feasibility studies at site and collect market needs & requirements
• Conduct research and develop Proof of Concept (PoC) prototypes
• Testing and validating the concept by managing and executing PoC projects
• Publishing patents, Conference articles, Journal articles and other technical documentation

Job Requirements :

• Min Masters/PhD
• At least 3 years experience in the field of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Preparation, Mathematical modelling and Simulation, Data Analytics and Optimization
• Experience in process/petrochemical/manufacturing industries is a big plus. A good understanding of various processes and associated equipment in these industries will be added advantage.
• Prior experience in practical ML/AI application for a process industry / industrial automation domain is added advantage

Knowledge

Adept at making insightful discoveries from multitude of datasets that facilitates more informed/better decision making.  The candidate should be familiar with tools and techniques for organizing and analyzing large data set. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled at presenting his/her findings in a manner that leads to easier/faster adoption. A list of useful tools and techniques are provided below:

• Programming Language: Python; Libraries: Pandas, Sklearn, Tensorflow, Nltk; Data Analysis: Regression, Classification, Clustering
• Data Storage: Sql, NoSql; Statistical Learning: Common Distributions, Hypothesis Testing
