In this section, user can specify the settings for his/her IoTalents account.

1.7.1 Hirer Settings

    a) Account

    - Time zones

    Hirer can select the time zone and all times throughout the site will be displayed based on the selected time zone.

    - Profile

    Hirer can edit the user profile and change password.

    b) Notifications

    - Job notifications

    In this section, all job related email settings are covered.

      i) Posting Jobs

      When hirer posts a job, email notifications of incoming proposals for the posted job, can be sent either immediately or never.

      By default, immediately is the selected option.

      Whenever hirer receives a proposal for a posted job, an email notificated will be sent immediately.

      If the Never option is selected, then hirer will not receive any email notification of incoming proposals for the posted jobs.

      ii) Job Matches

      iii) New message

      Whenever a new message from the talents is received, an email notification will be sent . If the email notification option is unchecked, then hirer will not receive any email notification for each incoming message.

    - Other Notifications

      i) Account Notifications

      Account related notifications such as "Payment Preapproval Expiry", "Suspension of account due to any specific reason by admin" etc. will be sent via email. It is recommended to turn this setting on.

      ii) Promotions and Offers

    Talent will receive an email notification for any promotions or offers from IoTalents.

    By default, both these settings will be turned on

    c) Payment and Accounts

    - Invoice and Currency

    In the Invoice section, the address filled in the profile will be used as the invoice address.

    In the Currency section, talent can choose the preferred currency that is used for display of transaction funds next to the amount (in base currency SGD) in Transaction History, Withdraw and My account.

1.7.2 Talent Settings

    a) Account

    - Time zones

    Talent can select the time zone and all times throughout the site will be displayed based on the selected time zone.

    b) Notifications

    - Job notifications

    In this section, all job related email settings are covered.

      i) Invites from Hirers

      By default, talent will receive the job invites from hirers via email. If the option is unchecked, then talent will not receive any email of job invite from the hirers.

      ii) Recommended Jobs matching my skills

      Every week, talent will receive an email about the recommended jobs matching the talent's skills.

      If this option has been unchecked, then talent will not receive any emails for jobs recommendation.

      iii) Notify saved job searches

      Every week, talent will receive an email on the results of the saved job searches if any saved job searches exists. (If the talent has saved any job search from Search jobs).

      iv) New message

      Whenever a new message from the hirer is received, an email notification will be sent. If the email notification option is unchecked, then talent will not receive any email for each incoming message.

    - Other Notifications

      i) Account Notifications

    d) Job Availability

    Talent can set his/her job availability options so that hirers can assign jobs accordingly.

    There are two options.

      i) Available for new opportunities

      ii) I am not currently available

      In second option, talent has the flexibility to choose "Select date" and specify the date on which he/she is available or select "Will update later".
      If a hirer sends an invitation related to his/her job, and then based on the stated availability, the talent will receive the invite. If the invite date exceeded the specified Available date, then the talent's availability settings will be turned on i.e. Will be automatically set to Available for new opportunities. Accordingly, the talent will receive the hirer's invite.
